TACOMA, Wash. -- The man who is accused of attacking and sexually assaulting a woman at a Tacoma day care on Monday has now been charged with 12 crimes spanning five separate incidents, prosecutors said Thursday.
Andrake Morris, 18, pleaded not guilty to all the charges, which include first-degree rape, attempted kidnapping, robbery, assault, and incident liberties. He's being held on $2 million bail.
Morris was arrested Monday night, just hours after the attack at the Tender Heart Learning Center. Police say the victim was opening up the daycare around 6:40 a.m. when a man who was waiting outside asked to enroll a child. She texted her mother and husband saying she was uncomfortable and moments later was attacked and sexually assaulted, police said. The attacker ran off when the mother and her husband arrived a few minutes later. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
Prosecutors say evidence from that crime scene now ties Morris to four other previously-unsolved crimes:

Prosecutors say evidence from that crime scene now ties Morris to four other previously-unsolved crimes:
- In March 2012, prosecutors say a woman was sexually assaulted in a Lakewood Walgreens parking lot.
"I was trying to get him off of me so I was clawing at his neck," said the victim Candy. She says she kept up the fight as the attacker tried sexually grabbing her through her clothes.
"I didn't know if I would be able to get away or where he was carrying me to or if I'd be able to get away or what his intentions were," she said. She was able to break free and eventually provide a description of the suspect to Lakewood police.
- In August, a man sexually assaulted a woman in her Tacoma apartment as she slept and stole her laptop.
- In October, a mother was robbed at gunpoint outside a Tacoma Walgreens at a DVD rental box as her 2- and 4-year-old children were present. The robber took her wallet and then ran away. The woman told detectives she could identify the robber if he was located.
- In January, a man sexually assaulted a woman in her apartment's laundry room. When the victim told the attacker there were surveillance cameras, the man ran off. The woman was able to provide a detailed description of her attacker.
Prosecutors say there could be additional charges as their investigation continues.
Reinstate public flogging and include the parents. If you can find them.
I'm waiting for mom to come on here and say how her son is innocent, like she did on the story of his arrest. And he's such a good boy...
With all those charge I don't expect him to see the outside of a jail cell until at least July. Remember to hug your thug today.
@4ShotLatte Wow, July!?!?  I was thinking next Tuesday.  This kid shouldn't see the light of day.
prime canidate for POS poster of the year
Andrake? Â Â
A note to the prosecutor:Â Â Make each and every charge separate and if/when he isÂ
convicted have all sentences run sequentially, not concurrently. That should keep
this animal off the streets for a very very long time.
So wait a minute, he attacked several women who said they could identify the person who attacked them. So months later he attacks this daycare worker who I'm sure identified him along with her mother and husband and all of a sudden they make an arrest???
Doesn't this seem odd, why didn't they make an arrest months ago when others said they could identify the person attacking them. Something just doesn't make sense here.
@Magicalwoman Um... I'm guessing because they didn't know whos pictures belonged in the line up until they found the items which tied him to the other crimes??
Dang.....he was just starting to turn his life around too.
@TreeTopFlyer and...he was such a good boy, ALWAYS mader you smile when he walked into the room, even though he had such a TERRIBLE childhood...UGH cry me a river lock this POS away until his weenie cant remember what to do.
Castration is about right for these monsters!!
I feel so sorry for the daycare victim. What a horrible thing to happen. She will need years of therapy to get through this. Filthy pig of a man!
Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they left a rope in his cell.
he's young and this is Washington State. I guarantee his best raping days are still ahead of him
Just kill it, we all know if he ever gets out he'll do it again.
Too violent. Life in prison.
Life in prison. Â Please and thank you.
You cannot rehabiliate this POS. Give him the max for each crime.
he should be shot and killed
A real piece of work. Time for a public beat down, then he can serve his time
Now he's looking at serious prison time 5 to 8...
As funny as that was, it'll be closer to 15-20...
i believe KIRO 7 has a photo. not only that the woman has come forward, publicly identifying herself; her face battered. Her point i believe is to encourage other victims of sexual violence to speak out. what a brave young woman.  my thoughts and prayers for her during her healing.
Still no picture of the perp? C'mon KOMO, the other news outlets are posting it.
@Just_Mike Even the News Tribune has a picture of him.
@Just_Mike "Andrake" was enough...
@Goodwin @Just_Mike I know RIGHT!!!LOL
That's an awful tall order in these parts....
