Man allegedly robs Subway while customers are inside
PACIFIC, Wash. -- A man armed with what appeared to be a gun robbed a Subway restaurant while customers were inside late Thursday night, according to the Pacific Police Department.
Officers from the Pacific and Algona Police Departments were called to the Subway on Ellingson Road shortly after 10:40 p.m. for reports of an armed robbery in progress.
According to police, a man walked into the restaurant holding a bag that witnesses said looked like it contained a gun. The man implied he had a gun, demanded cash from the register, and left the restaurant with the money, according to police.
Officers were unable to locate the man when they arrived.
Police are working to get surveillance video of the robber.
Humm, Pacific isn't that the crazy Mayor town, they still have a police department in that loony toon town?
"The man implied he had a gun, demanded cash from the register, and left the restaurant with the money, according to police."...sounds like a robbery to me!...well unless he actually demanded the money from the register and not the cashier give him the money from the register in that case it would be burglary?
