Man fakes heart attack after getting pulled over
BEAVERTON, Ore. - A Beaverton man's heart is probably still racing after police say he faked a heart attack to try to avoid a speeding ticket.
Officers pulled over 55-year-old Geoffrey Burke for allegedly traveling at 46 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Burke complained of chest pains and medics rushed him to the hospital. Medics thought something was fishy when Burke kept pulling out his IV.
Burke was later released from the hospital and arrested on various charges.
