Man found shot to death in Lakewood parking lot

LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- Police here are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex, and say the motive might have involved drugs.
A 911 call led investigators to the Greenwood Apartments, in the 5300 block of San Francisco Ave. SW, at around 9:45 p.m.
They arrived to find a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medics could not revive the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s 33-year-old roommate was home asleep at the time of the shooting and told police he was awakened by his roommate yelling for him, then heard a gunshot.
The roommate came out, found the man shot, and dragged him out to the front door telling neighbors to call 911.
Police say the roommate said he did not see the shooting and does not know what happened.
A witness reported seeing another man talking to the victim prior to the shooting, but didn't get a good description.
A large quantity of drugs was found in the apartment, police said, adding it's possible drug trafficking played a role in the murder.
The name of the man who was killed has not been released.

Lakewood huh......believe I've even seen that apt complex on an old episode of COPS. Guess some things do stay the same.
Lakewood is full of people who not work and receive help from the government.Fortunately, Obama remained in the White House.Problems should be reduced in Lakewood area.
 @Dozen 123 That's a naive Statement.
People in ALL Cities receive Gov. Support...Seattle, Tukwilla, Kent, ...everywhere.Â
Lakewood also has a LARGE well to do population....Geez!! ;)
 @_Monte_  @Dozen 123 Not really. It's called Lakehood for a reason.
 @Dozen 123 The "help" they receive from our tax-dollars allows the free time and idleness to concentrate their focus on violent crime, should they decide to do so.Â

How's that "Great Society" working out for you now, LBJ?
Another one bites the dust...
Drug deal gone bad?
Just a daily dose of living, Lakewood style!
Lakehood
Bullets and Lakewood have become synonymous...
Another MURDERER on the loose... "armed and dangerous". Hopefully the "potential" witnesses will have a description of the suspect so we can "be on the lookout" for the KILLER.
Lakewood is a tough area... Wouldn't want to live there.
@JoeKing2  I went to high school there in the late 70's, early 80's. It has gone downhil rapidly since then. I moved my parents out of there 7 years ago.
Lakewood, up to no good!
