I personally know this young man and his family. There is not an ounce of drug abuse, alcohol, etc. He actually works with a local youth group and is a Bible toting, hardcore Christian. He was coming home from work. His family are leaders in a local church and both him and his younger sister practically live at the church. Sick that anyone would jump to this conclusion without knowing anything!
Hello, I agree with Mrs. Cindy. How dare anyone to judge who this man was. Whether or not it was a "meth" (shows the ignorance of some people on choice of words) no one deserves to have their life suddenly taken away. It is sad and I feel for this young manâs family.
I was on my way to the gym when I came upon this scene; so many cars continue to drive by and let this young man lay in the street. Another man (whom I did not get his name) and I where the only ones to stop. This guy and me performed CPR but unfortunately were unsuccessful to save him.
I see this young man walk to work every morning on my way to the gym, I just found out he was only 23 years old. Instead of speculating what you think you might know about this area or the men and women, families that live around here get the facts right, learn some respect and humility before youâre so quick to judge any personâs life.
Enclosing, may this young man rest in peace. May your family find peace and Help these two individual drivers cope with what was merely a tragic accident.
@Karl Thanks Karl. I will pass the message to his parents. Apauled that people would even bring up meth. He is a hard working kid who actually chooses to walk at this point. I think he would like a car, but doesn't mind walking. He was a great kid and a local youth group where he helped at is devestated losing a great kid who gave his time to others.
@Karl thankyou very much for being there, and doing wat you could, it was in gods hands and as of now,,,,so is he,,,,,,again , thankyou, and thanks for your kind words.... godbless you....

@Cindy lou Agreed Cindy. He was an awesome kid. My kids are devestated!
@Cindy lou My sympathies to you & the rest of this man's family & friends. However, my suggestion to you & the rest of his family is to go do something other than reading & posting comments on this forum. It is human nature to speculate based on the little information provided by the media & the person's own background. Many times those speculations are quite probable in a general sense when the specific facts aren't available but, in reality, inaccurate once the truth in known. Don't be too hard on others here, they did not know anything about who the victim was & based on known info of the area, the speculations were realistic.
Again I am sorry for your loss & I'm sure many others here are also.
@Cindy lou Just want to say, "So sorry for your family's loss" Parents should never have to bury their children. A heartbreaking tragedy IMO.
Just to reply to your response (from WA Mama), although Meth is a problem in the area as in most areas. There is a bus stop at the end of the road of the 200th and Meridian. This man may have been on his way to work. I drive this road every morning and this morning had to be turned around and rerouted. The first thing I thought of was the kids waiting for their bus to pick them up and prayed that had not had to witness what had just happened! Deepest sympathy to the family of the lost. I live near here-it is a very bad road and I worry constantly about speeding drivers hitting my fence or home. Now a death? crap...

@Grahama  @The WA Mama That bus stop is no longer! They got rid of that stop about 2 months ago. I know how dangerous that road is. If you drive the speed limit people ride your butt.Â
Hasn't anyone up there ever heard of sidewalks?
@Windowseat Its a horrible road. No lighting, no sidewalks, and meth labs galore in the woods around there.....
@Windowseat No sidewalks and no streetlights either. And no bus service.
@Windowseat Very few rural roads have sidewalks but sometimes people still need to walk along those roads. However, the picture shows a fairly wide shoulder in that area, seems like he could easily have NOT been in the way of cars.
@Windowseat If only there were sidewalks on that road.
May the man R.I.P.
Thats a real bad road for walking. Everyone speeds on it. Does anyone have more details?
