Man flips car, abandons passenger to flee cops
SEATTLE -- Police have nabbed the man accused of flipping his car in South Seattle and leaving a female passenger injured.

King County deputies saw the man roll his Cadillac over at 44th Ave. S and S. Cloverdale Wednesday just before 4 p.m. But as deputies approached the car, the driver got out of the car and ran off, police said.

The deputies tended to a female passenger who was injured in the crash.

Seattle police officers responding to the scene spotted the suspect running in the 4700 block of Renton Ave. S. but lost sight of him as he ran through the neighborhood. Some neighbors have since called 911 saying a man covered in blood was going door to door in the 4800 block of S. Rose Street.

Police announced later Wednesday night that they'd caught the suspect, who has not been identified.
