Man found dead with gunshot wound in trunk of car in Tacoma
TACOMA, Wash. -- Pierce County detectives have launched a homicide investigation into the death of a man whose remains were found in the back of a car.
The victim, who had been reported missing on Tuesday, was found in an SUV parked outside an apartment complex in the 2200 block of 99th St. S. on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old man had been shot, according to detectives. His name has not been released.
The gunman remains at large, and a description was not available.
Investigators planned to provide additional information on Thursday afternoon.
