This is my father...I have been told he was not in any pain. I miss him...
To put your minds at rest, it's not the man from Marysville. This man's identity is known, last I heard they are still trying to contact his daughter.
There is a man from Marysville that has been missing since approx November 2012 and he was last seen driving a 2006 red Chrysler Pacifica which kind of looks like this check out facebook and search Dave Boyle
Odd that he didn't have anyone who missed him. I guess its just the nature of our glorious society these days.
Huh, no missing persons report? No one inquiring where their father/husband/SO/friend went?
RIP man, hope the suffering was minimal.
How horrible.Â
should have had onstar
@BuddyHolly: Â OnStar in a Chrysler? Â I don't think so. Â However I do agree that such an automatic crash notification could have been a lifesaver. Â My next car will have such a device, whether it is GM's OnStar or some other car company's.
Horrible.
Poor guy.....In this case, I hope that he passed on impact. That would be so scary. Prayers to his family.
@Beau's Mom Absolutely!  That would be awful to be alone by yourself and unable to get help!!!  (kinda sounds like a life alert commercial) but seriously I hope there wasn't much suffering!
@BD425 @Beau's Mom
Not much suffering? 60 year old men don't find themselves driving a minivan without decades of poor decisions and untold suffering. He may have finally realized that and this was a suicide mission.
@HawkEye You know, sometimes a better show of your "wit" and intelligence, is by just shutting up.  Seriously. It may have been a work car. He may have had grandkids that he drove to school. He may have been an artist or craftsman that needed to transport his work. He may have been a food bank volunteer that used his vans to deliver food. He may have been a musician.  I can speculate about the poor man all day long, but it only took me one second to figure out what you are.Â
was he reported missing? Â I fear being alone, as I get old.
@cheekygesturton 60 isn't very old, btw. Not even elderly.Â
@cheekygesturton I was wondering the same thing. Didn't he have any friends or family that would have been concerned if they hadn't heard from him or seen him? He was only 60 years old...didn't he still work? (most people don't retire until at least 62-65). My thoughts and prayers go to his loved ones. Rest in peace sir.
@cheekygesturton I have no children, I feel ya!!!
