Man dies following Central District shooting

SEATTLE - A man has died of wounds sustained during a shooting in the Central District neighborhood of Seattle on Saturday.

Police found the 24-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to his chest, and lying on the sidewalk outside of a residence around 2:30 a.m. near the 2200 block of East Union Street. A friend of the victim told police she found the man, but did not see what led up to the shooting.

Officers located shell casings, but have no suspect or suspect vehicle description.
