Man killed as speeding SUV crashes into truck, power poles
The SUV was a mangled wreck after the crash.
BURIEN, Wash. - A speeding SUV slammed into a truck and two power poles overnight in Burien, killing the driver of the SUV, the King County Sheriff's Office reports.

Deputies and medics responded to the scene, on SW 130th Street at 2nd Avenue SW, at about 12:45 a.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a serious crash.

The driver of the vehicle, an Acura SUV, was found dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation found that the SUV was heading east on 130th Street at high speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle clipped a power pole, crashed into a truck, then slammed head-on into another power pole.

The driver was ejected from the SUV. His name and age were withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

There were no passengers in the vehicle and no one else was hurt.
