SPANAWAY, Wash. -- A man who admitted to drinking before a crash that killed a woman and injured six others last year pleaded guilty Wednesday to vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.

Amanda Halvorson died at the scene. Six other young people in the vehicle, ranging in age from 19 to 22, suffered serious injuries and were taken to an area hospital.
