White Center woman stabbed to death, son arrested
NEAR SEATTLE -- Deputies have arrested a man accused of fatally stabbing his own mother late Tuesday afternoon.
King County sheriff's spokesperson Sgt. Cindi West said the stabbing occurred at the woman's home in the 1300 block of SW 100th at approximately 5:50 p.m.
The accused son called 911 himself, and medics arrived to find the 69-year-old woman had been stabbed multiple times in the neck. Medics performed CPR on the woman, but she could not be revived. The woman has not been identified.
The 42-year-old son has been arrested.
"He's cooperative, I can tell you that,” said West. “He said multiple times that he was sorry, and he was begging for us to save her.”

He was here 6 months ago, trying to remove his clothes in the park where all the kids were. They tresspassed him off the place. Now look what happened.

I cannot imagine what would compel a child to kill a mother like this, but he's clearly deranged and needs to be put behind bars for many years.
Isn't that photo the same one that was used in the home invasion/ rape of a woman while her toddler slept in the next room story?

 @makeadifference Yes, and it's still up there on that article. I guess instead of actually being related to the story (stories?) it accompanies, they just decided to go with Random Ominous-Looking Photo No. 42. Since they still owned one more week of licensing for it, might as well wring it dry.Â

 @TreeTopFlyer I think they perform CPR just in case the heart stopped because of an MI instead of hypovolemia (one could mask the other), the other reason is to comfort bystanders and family members that they "have tried everything". Her own son? That's pretty disturbing.Â
that's not good. CPR after trauma may be late...Â
