Murder charges filed in SeaTac motel slaying

SEATAC, Wash. (AP) - King County prosecutors have filed murder charges against three 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old girl in connection with a fatal shooting at a Seatac motel.
Kavahn Matthews-Smith, Qiantre Taylor and Rodney Willis were charged Tuesday in the slaying of 47-year-old Herman Tucker. Willis' sister, Earnetra Turner, was also charged as an adult.
Taylor and Willis are jailed in lieu of $2 million. Bail for Turner has been set at $1 million. Prosecutors say an arrest warrant has been issued for Matthews-Smith.
The sheriff's office says witnesses saw the victim drive up and enter a motel room. Within a few minutes they heard an argument and then a gun shot. The victim stumbled out of the room and collapsed. He died at the scene. Witnesses say four people burst from the room and fled.

I don't want to hear from any of you smart-alecks trying to lay the blame for their path down Crime Boulevard at the feet of their parents. Just because they had to go through life having to repeat ad infinitum the spelling of their names is no reason to assume that crime is the pre-destined outcome. Shame on you!
 @Sid Vishess Brutal... yet insightful. "Crime Boulevard" indeed...
 @TheTruncheon between S. 140th and S 154th...
Great. Now how about the mugshots of Qiantre Taylor, Rodney Willis, and Earnetra Turner being posted as well? Only one out of four? Well at least there's one....

Sounds like these were some very mean, exploitative people making very evil decisions.Â
If convicted, none of them should ever see the light of day again, while the murdering trigger-man should hang, of course.
 @TheTruncheon I think the idea is to get the public to focus and remember the face of the one that is not in custody. AFTER that then all faces should get equal bad press play.
 @Commenter87643 Okay, I'll buy that. Sounds like a good plan.
 @TheTruncheon I guess they didn't think it was necessary since the other three are jailed. Hope the fourth is caught soon.
 @Emeree You may be correct. But even if "they" didn't feel it mattered to put the other three up, in that case there's no reason NOT to, either. I feel all crime stories, especially MURDERS, should have the full info, including mugshots and names, of all suspects involved, at all times, whenever possible. Since they're in jail, their mugshots have already been taken, and it would be no big deal to post them.
