SEATTLE (AP) - A man accused of knocking a teenage brother and sister to the ground and then jumping naked into nearby Green Lake and eluding police for more than two hours remains a mystery, but he's been charged with assault and resisting arrest.

King County prosecutors filed charges Friday against the man, believed to be 32. They're still not sure of his name, saying he was uncooperative during fingerprinting and refused a jail interview. He's held in the county jail.

Prosecutors say the man violently tackled a 19-year-old man and his 17-year-old sister Tuesday afternoon.

Daniel Gonzales and his sister, Susan, were taken to an area hospital. Daniel suffered a badly cut lip and a broken finger in the scuffle, and Susan suffered cuts to her arms and legs.

Daniel said the attacker came out of nowhere.

"I was walking with my autistic sister and apparently I got jumped. I didn't see it coming," he said.

In addition to harming the teens, the man is also accused of threatening officers with sticks and throwing "large, bowling ball sized rocks" at police, according to court documents.

Police described his actions in the water and his brief stint on Duck Island as "violent" and said he was "demonstrating possible mental health issues."

Bail was set at $25,000 and the man will be arraigned September 17.
