North Cascades Highway reopens
This Aug. 2013 photo provided by the Washington Dept. of Transportation shows a massive mud and rock slide blocking Highway 20 in Washington state near the Easy Pass trail head. The slide was one of several in the area this weekend, including one near Marblemount, Wash., that washed out a gravel road, stranding 65 hikers at the Cascade Pass Trailhead.
