One dead in Kent crash

KENT, Wash. -- One man was killed when he lost control of the car he was driving early Friday and ran off the road.

Kent Police Sgt. Jarod Kasner said the car crashed about 4 a.m. near the intersection of South 208th and 100th.

A passenger who was in the car was injured.

Kasner said investigators are still trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control, but it does not appear that alcohol or speed were involved.

The name of the man who was killed has not been released.
