"My Mom is HANDS DOWN the best Mom around! She has been married for 40 years this August, is mother to 4 children and Grandma to 8 grandchildren. Now that we kids have grown and left the nest she has taken on the role of "Mom" for 385 students and 59 staff members as secretary at Carnation Elementary where she has worked for nearly 20 years. My mom is truly my best friend in life. The greatest lesson she has taught me in life has not been anything she has told me, but how she has lead her life; a true example of grace, faith, and strength. I love you MOM!" - Nicole Welch
