Police: West Seattle home target of drive-by shooting
SEATTLE - Bullets riddled a West Seattle home during a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon, according to police.
A man and women were inside the home in the 7300 block of 32nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest Othello when police say a blue SUV, similar to a Chevy Blazer, pulled up and started firing.
Detective Mark Jamieson, with Seattle Police, says a total of five shots were fired, hitting a fence post, a tree branch, the front door and living room window. At least two of the bullets made it inside the home but police say no one was hurt.
A search of the area for the suspect's car turned up empty. Officers are continuing to investigate.
Sounds like they were using the Super Modified Gangster grip. Did anyone in the surrounding area hear any taunting by any chance?

No drive by on Sunday, please.

What, say its not true. All the bad guys turned in their guns yesterday because the city asked them to.
@Pawpabear There are a lot of you making these ridiculously snide comments about the gun buy back. Was anyone forcing these people to give their guns up? Does it effect you in ANY way, AT ALL that they give up their firearms for a (crappy) gift card? Doubtful. So why are you all putting so much effort into douchebagery and ragging on these people for their choice? It's pathetic and makes you seem petty, arrogant and ignorant. If someone wants to give their gun away, great. Keep your snide remarks to yourself.
Who is raising all the brain-dead idiots who can manage to get their hands on guns and cars to commit crimes. When they end up dead themselves or in prison, they will have only themselves to blame. Losers.
Looks like SOMEBODY didn't know about the generous "buyback program" and it's business as usual.
Sounds like the police should take some of those arms they bought for $100 today and arm the good citizens of that neighborhood so they can defend themselves when this happens again.
@Magic 8 Ball By the time they would have got their guns out of the locked cases they should always be in, the shooters would have been long gone.
@Sanctuary That defeats the whole purpose of having a weapon. Always be packing. Only keep firearms in a safe that are not securely attached to your body.

Simple solution for you...don't own a gun.
@Magic 8 Ball  @Sanctuary That may work if I'm standing in front of the door with my gun drawn every waking second. But if I'm going to the bathroom, taking a shower, mowing the lawn, working in the shop, on the computer, reading to the kids watching tv, eating dinner, talking on the phone or doing a crossword puzzle then I'm not ready to draw my weapon on intruders. They won't wait for me to get my gun, I'll be dead before I even have a chance to reach for it.
