Police: Driver hits pedestrian twice before running off
SEATTLE -- Police are looking for the driver who allegedly ran into a man waiting at a Greenwood bus stop Sunday night, backed up and hit him again before running off into the neighborhood.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the victim was waiting with a friend at the bus stop near Fremont Avenue North and North 105th Street around 11:36 p.m. when what is being described as a 2000 Ford Mustang convertible hopped the curb and hit him.
The Mustang kept going, striking two parked cars, before backing up and hitting the victim a second time, according to police.
When the Mustang finally got stuck on the curb, the driver got out, fought off the victim's friend who tried to detain him, and ran off north on Fremont Avenue, according to police.
Officers were unable to find the driver, and the victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center for his injuries.
Police do not yet know why the driver jumped the curb and hit the victim.
When they find the person this is responsible do us a favor and charge the creep with attempted murder... he ran over the person TWICE ... that is definitely proving intent to kill... then promptly execute the piece of trash - no point trying to rehabilitate someone like this as they likely are not contributing to society anyway... so in the interest of WA State Budget Balancing violent repeat offenders should be put to death promptly... to those who would say this is inhumane they need to look at the big picture and that is the POS in prison especially those in for violent crime can and will likely offend again once released so no point wasting effort on trying to rehabilitate them... it costs too much money for very little return anyway... so get it over with and start executing more of these people....
Seriously there is a reason the USA has the biggest population behind bars, and that is because our justice system is broken and will not do what needs to be done to rid the USA of these excess non-contributing / undesirables / etc... |Â three articles this morning have already demonstrated why more aggressive action needs to be done... instead the bleeding hearts favor locking them up instead - we do not have the money to pay for these incarcerations so either implement 'Death Race' or something like it to start getting rid of these freaks!

Description of driver? Color of car? License plate #? There has to be more info than what is in the article. KOMO, if you have a description of the driver (race, height, size, etc.), please include that in your article. If someone is hispanic, short and skinny, it is not offensive to all hispanic people, short people, or skinny people. The facts are the facts.

The police seem to put a very low priority on cases such as these.Â
I was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Shoreline Library last month who backed into me & then took off. The police came, took a report, gave me a case number - but nothing more. I know if I ever see the same vehicle there again IU plan to block it with my car, call the copos & demand that the b^*^%%R be arrested & charged (which is what I told the 911 operator when I called it in).

Police looking for He's described as a Hispanic male, about five feet, four inches tall, last seen wearing a black jacket and tan pants.

@HawkEye @Seattle While there is no doubt Fox embellishes or messes up stories sometimes I find they will report on things that no other news source will touch.....most other news agencies are like KOMO, omitting anything that might be offensive to some minority group out there. There should be no PC anything when it comes to reporting the news....report the facts as they are, without modification.
And these self appointed offense watchdogs never seem to undersatnd that the actual number of criminals committing violence is small enough that they are in no way even capable of being representative of an entire community of say 50,000 or 100,000 people in the Seattle area. Individuals committ crime and suspect descriptions come from victims and witnesses, who are often of the same race as the suspect.
