Police: Man tries to abduct Everett HS student
EVERETT, Wash. -- An Everett High School student was walking to school Monday morning when a stranger tried to pull her into his car, according to the Everett Police Department.
According to police, the student was walking in the 2300 block of Wetmore Avenue around 8:05 a.m. when a man pulled up next to her in an older, tan sedan and asked if she wanted a ride.
The student told the man no and kept walking.
A few seconds later, the man grabbed her arm and pulled her toward his car, according to police.
The student was able to get away from the man and run to school, where she immediately reported the incident.
Police were unable to find the man or his car. And, the student was unable to provide a detailed description of the would-be abductor.
What????? Â Komo failing to provide a description when a description has already been released??? Â I am speechless.............................................
In each case such as this, there has to be the assumption of truth and I hope the perv is caught before he makes a successful kidnapping, but I will be angry if this should turn out to be another false report because of how that affects the credibility of true attempted abductions. Â

"The male is described as African American, in his 20âs, about 6â tall and heavy set with a mustache and brown curly hair. During the incident he wore a plaid shirt.    The vehicle is described as an older, tan 4-door sedan.   The student was not physically injured.   Â

I guess it all in the meaning of "detailed" description. Michael may believe that you have to know more than height, weight, clothing and skin color, and age hairstyle and facial hair. There is no description of his lips, the size of his nose, or whether his pants were hanging off his a55, or whether he was missing teeth, and what kind of jewelery he was wearing, or if he did in fact, have Nikes on. Heck, we don't even know what the tattoo said on his bicep.  Since all this other info is missing, we shouldn't alarm people, until we get all the details.

That poor girl! How scary! It sounds like she did what she had to do to get away thank God! I hope they catch that scumbag soon.
I couldn't image what she is/went going through.  Hope the give her and anyone else who needs it some pepper spray, the ones with visible or fluorescent dye.
