Man allegedly tries to cut A&F employees over pilfered cologne
SEATTLE -- I've heard of Abercrombie & Fitch models being cut, but this is ridiculous.
A man armed with a knife threatened a handful of Abercrombie & Fitch employees over a pilfered bottle of cologne Tuesday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The man entered the store near Fourth and Pine around 7:30 p.m. According to police, management believes the man has shoplifted from the store before, so they kept an eye on him.
Employees watched as the man put a bottle of cologne from a display into his gym bag and confronted him when he tried to leave the store, according to police.
According to police, the man brandished a knife at the employees, who backed off and called 911.
Officers arrived and arrested the man a few blocks away. He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
He put on the cologne and ALL of Capital Hill instantly hit on him
He was probably over the age of 21 and was afraid the employees would make fun of him for being in an A&F store so he stole it instead.
He must smell really bad if he wants to steal that awful smelling stuff from there to cover up.
It was a bottle of Drakkar Noir.
More good times at Westlake. Same people hustling and stealing as always down there.Â
You don't need to buy cologne in that store, just pass the entrance and you'll smell of it all day.
