Police: Pregnant burglar targeting North Bend homes
NORTH BEND, Wash. -- Police in North Bend are trying to track down the pregnant woman who burglarized at least one local home last week.
Investigators say the woman pulled up to a house in the 43800 block of SE168th Street last Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
She got out of the car and knocked on the front door.
When nobody answered, police say she broke in through the front window.
After grabbing an unknown amount of property, the woman left. A home surveillance system captured some of the crime.
Police say the same red convertible used in the March 13 burglary was seen a day earlier at another North Bend home that had been burglarized.
The burglar is a white woman in her 20s with long, dark hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hat, a pink sweatshirt, yoga pants and flip flops.
Someone else was inside the car during the March 13 burglary, but police have yet to identify that person.
If you recognize the suspect or her car, you are asked to call the King County Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311 or 911.

What kind of mother to be puts herself and her unborn baby at risk to break into homes? She's lucky the home owner wasn't waiting inside for her with a gun. Idiots seem to be reproducing at extremely high rates these days, wouldn't be surprised if she was another POS meth head pawning off stolen items so she can get high.Â
The car looks like a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS Convertible or the Dodge Eagle Talon Conv. from 1997-1999 vintage. Â The rear wing looks like a Mitsubishi Eclipse and the noise look like a Dodge Eagle Talon. Â The fiberglass kit looks like it came from Kitaero. Â Look it up on EBay and Wiki. Â There were not many made.
She knows that when she is caught nothing much will come of it. Even if she has priors, not much will be done. She'll be taken care of for awhile, lounge with her buddies in county and that's about it. Hence the brazen quality of her break in. Â
well she will be caught pretty soon all anyone has to do is recognize her car and her profile.......hmmm she's not one of the brightest ones out there now is she?.
That seems to be the burglars choice of breaking into homes these days. Knock on the door and see if anyone is home. I had a lady come to my door a few weeks ago and since I wasn't expecting anyone, I didn't answer the door. Few moments later, I heard someone trying to open the sliding door in our kitchen so I got up to go see. When I got there, I saw nothing so I walked back towards the living room where I saw a woman in my backyard trying to open one of our windows. She was none too pleased to see me standing at the window and bolted. I called the cops because we have surveillance outside but of course they never showed up. They didn't show up when our cars were broken into as well which prompted the surveillance crap in the first place. Â
We have the highest minimum wage in the country and they still want to steal. Get a job lazy losers.  This way you won't have a criminal record that follows you the rest of your life.
@ObsidianOne can't live on it.
Minimum wage was never designed to be a "livable" wage.
@mike sorlie @ObsidianOne No..can't live on it with a heroin habit.
That car appears to have one of those iridescent paint jobs that change colors depending on the angle from which its viewed.
Watched the video and didn't see any sign of pregnancy. She needs to meet up with an armed homeowner.

I believe the police have yet to identify the burglar as well!!
Just get up, throw on some comfy clothes, flip flops, ball cap and....head out to rob a house? Nice way to spend the day. </sarcasm> My guess is this is the source of funds of the moment for the drug habit. Who knows if she's pregnant or not, can't tell now a days. I truly hope not for any potential baby's sake.
Probably a meth baby. Her kid is probably going to be born with a third arm growing out the top of its head.
Here is the raw time-lapse video:Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsAsH7o_zbM
Notice she has an accomplice in the car.
@Watcher3Â She doesn't look pregnant to me. Few women have magazine-esque flat abdomens, and a snug top only makes any curves more obvious.Â
She sure did spend a lot of time on the porch, pondering how to get in. Persistant. I'd have given up and run off, afraid of getting caught. Funny how people don't suspect security systems and cameras.Â
@Hadrian @Watcher3 I think she was making sure that no one was home. She got through the window quickly.
@Hadrian@Watcher3She doesn't look pregnant to me either, just a little pudge. The police are probably men.
I hope they find her and arrest her butt. Then she can have her child behind bars where hopefully it is taken away and given to someone who will raise the child right.Â
Daddys little girl all grown up now.Next stop County and then off to the big house.(rollin eyes)
I hope she's not pregnant. Not only because I wouldn't want a child involved. I mean that is certainly a good reason. However, being labeled 'Pregnant Burglar' when you're not is a pretty good slap in the face, especially if she's not trying to look it.
@queenofthenight Hopefully she will contact KOMO and get that cleared up.
As my late father would have said, some one needs an AZZ kicking and its not the door of this home.
Damn, what the heck is going on in her life? Hope she figures it out soon.
Between her photo, and that car, I'd say her days are numbered.
I hope she's not doing this to feed a habit. That poor baby.
