Police: Violent teens attack soccer coach in Lynnwood
LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- Police are trying to track down a trio of teenage boys who attacked a soccer coach outside of a Lynnwood high school on Wednesday.
The 53-year-old soccer coach was with his teenage daughter outside Meadowdale High School Wednesday afternoon when the trouble started.
The man, who does not work for the school district, was waiting for members of his soccer team when three teenagers walked by and made what police describe as "deplorable comments" to his daughter.
Two of the three teens then attacked the coach before all three took off on foot. The man's daughter wasn't wasn't hurt, but the beating left the coach with cuts and bruises on his face.
The soccer team arrived moments later and called 911.,
Police say the main aggressor in the beating stands about 5'10" tall, weighs roughly 160 pounds and has shaggy blond hair. Police believe he is 15- to 17-years old. The second teen is about the same age, but had darker skin, short hair and angular features.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Lynnwood police at (425) 670-5669.

I need to get a gun.Â
@SoTweetie And learn how to use it.
@Bornhere Yes I wouldn't get one without taking classes. Seems a necessity for protection these days, especially for women.
A word to these "boys"... your path's in a downhill slide. Count on it.Â
Disrespecting the man's daughter shows such lack of morals and integrity. They were obviously looking for a fight and trying to be "tough" when really they were showing how weak they are. A true man would never disrespect someone's daughter. These will be the same boys that turn into "men" (and I use that word lightly) that abuse.
Â
Too bad the soccer players didn't show up sooner. I pictured these three being swarmed by those soccer players to teach them a lesson.
Today is Friday and we are just tonight hearing about something that happened Wednesday?
Wow, they have no boundaries to harass a girl when her father is around and then attack him. Where they raised by wolves because they act like wild untamed animals. Some of the youth today are so disappointing. Hope their parents don't defend them once they are caught.
@Pollywannacracker: How dare you besmirch wolves! I can assure you that any violet actions taken against a member of the pack would be dealt with quickly and straight to the point. As for the parents, well one can only guess what their response will be. But I sincerely hope these miscreants are caught soon and strung up by their short hairs!
POS x 3
And the third member of the "trio"? He was not worthy of a description? As it pertains to reporting, I believe this is called "phoning it in."
Glad the guy is ok. I hope the punks get busted.
@swansong68 The definition of a punk is a young man used as a homosexual partner especially in a prison or a young inexperienced person. Now if you want to use that word with music you will have one who affects punk styles (clothing, rock -n- roll, etc)Â
You may think your mature in calling someone names, but no matter what people do, you do not need to sink to their level and abuse them with you verbal abuse.Â
@Just my say Good golly teach, I guess you schooled me. Let me rephrase. When these guys get busted I hope they become somebodys punk. Better? Oh, and by not being verbally abusive, what do you call this? "I don't know what she is writing but its stupid and she thinks its cool." Your quote not mine. Sticks and stones, sticks and stones.
@Just my say  @swansong68 Wow, you must look really hard for things to complain about. Â
Â
punk2Â Â [puhngk]Â IPA noun

e.an apprentice, especially in the building trades.
f.Prison Slang. a boy.
Â
Sure, your less commonly used definition applies but equally so do the others.
I'm guessing the poster was using definition 1. b.
Â
Call it what you will - mature, immature, whatever... these teens were punks... see 1. b.
@Datsuyama
Overlooked one â a punk is also used to light off fireworks and incense - so I guess you could say 'I hope these punks get burnt....'
@Datsuyama I agree with you.  I try to be careful with my word choices; I understand the power of verbal abuse and believe in not speaking that way, even if I am spoken to that way.... And, I do see plenty of verbal abuse on these comment boards...But for "Just my say" to consider the use of the word "punk" in this article as verbal abuse seems way overboard to me....can't even understand it really.... it is an accurate description, and not an overly strong word at any rate.....
Verbal abuse, huh? Â If you call using the dictionary definition of a word, in it's proper context, verbal abuse, so be it. Â
@Datsuyama  Verbal abuse, a form of abusive behavior involving the use of language. Now your just the same, hope that you wanted to be just like them.Â
No Video? Outside a High School?
@Grumpa Nope, Might accidentally get a view of a No Trespassing sign that mentions guns.
cowards, hope they run into the wrong guy some day
local boys more than likely and shouldn't be to hard to find with a year book.
@codetalker Yep, they should talk to the Attendance Secretary. They know all the kids, and who might likely be the perps.Â
@codetalker If they are not drop outs and do school pictures.Â
@Just my say  @codetalker Public schools take photos of all kids and do so before high school. It shouldn't be too hard to track these punks down
