Police: Woman performs all-singing, all-dancing assault at hotel bar
SEATTLE -- An irate woman performed an all-singing, all-dancing assault on a bartender, another patron and police officers while soaked in beer Tuesday night at a hotel bar in the University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The woman had been hanging out in the Hotel Deca bar for hours when the bartender finally asked her to pay her $30 tab around 11:30 p.m.
The woman's credit card was declined, and she said she had other ways to pay but was not forthcoming with them.
According to police, the woman became upset, started screaming and tried to throw an empty pitcher of beer at the bartender. Unfortunately, she missed and hit a nearby woman in the chin, according to police.
The bartender later told officers the woman then grabbed a full pitcher of beer, poured it over herself and proceeded to dance and sing.
At the conclusion of her performance, she flung the now-empty pitcher at the bartender, missing once again, according to police.
The bartender called 911, and woman went outside to kick the bar's windows until officers arrived.
While officers were trying to keep the woman from leaving, she slapped one in the face and kicked another one, according to police.
The woman was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault. Police are also requesting charges of misdemeanor assault, property damage, theft and resisting arrest.
Another one who's slid off the cracker...whew!
Some people are silly drunks. Some people are depressed drunks. Some are quiet. And then... some people are just plain WEIRD drunks.
Dinner, drinks, and a show. Do they charge a cover charge at this place?
Well, I suppose there are worse ways to guarantee a jail sentence. I hope she gets some form of help or counseling, because that's one crazy train that's begging for a derailment.
Can you spell D-R-U-N-K? Seriously drunk at that? Man, that Lindsay Lohan's out of control! ;)
and why wasn't this caught on tape?
......sounds like she belongs in Florida!
A bar full of people can't stop one crazy, drunk woman? Reminds of the story below. I'm still waiting for those pictures.

Where is Phoenix Jones when you need him.
Â
"she had other ways to pay", that's one cheap woman to sell her body for that little.
wow, she sings, dances, kicks azz, and gets arrested...  she is certainly not a boring drunk you see in the bar everyday...
"and woman went outside..."
Â
Â
I didn't know Hotel Deca had a floor show!
If only that woman that got hit on the chin had been packin' heat to protect herself. /snark off
Just another happy U-Dub student.
Ethel Merman eat your heart out!
 @Doloresdecabeza Bra-vo.
Well, if she is in good shape, she should take her show to Vegas, might be able to score big down there and have all the free booze she can drink.
"According to police, the woman became upset, started screaming and tried to throw an empty pitcher of beer at the bartender. Unfortunately, she missed and hit a nearby woman in the chin, according to police."
Â
"Unfortunately" she missed ?
Â
;-)
 @Komo Dragon Good catch. :-)
 @Komo Dragon Unfortunately 'she missed and hit the wrong target, another customer instead of the bartender.', still a bad choice of words.
 @Komo Dragon Yeah I don't get that either...
 @lakeview It would be better to write: "She missed and unfortunately hit ..."
I'm amazed that a lady got hit in the chin, and everyone was able to stay calm to let her preform her singing and dancing.Â
It was not wet T-shirt night?
The "Singin' in the Rain" segment from "A Clockwork Orange" comes to mind...
That reminds me. Â Where's Katt Williams these days. Â Â
Sounds pretty entertaining, when's her next performance?Â
 @Cooter_Brown Depends when she makes bail.
"an empty pitcher of beer" Wouldn't that just be a pitcher?
 @DarkParty - you know, we complain about the writers here on KOMO, it's obvious no one there edits this stuff!  Good thing they've got us! LOL!
 @DarkParty Touche, DarkParty.
That's one way to get out of paying at the moment.
Too bad somebody in that bar didn't think to whip out their cell phone and shoot some video, I'd like to see that.
Well. That's a new one. O_o
