Police arrest burglars suspected of hitting 100 homes
An incredibly prolific crime spree likely came to an end Sunday when a team of local law-enforcement officers arrested two men suspected of burglarizing more than 100 homes in the Puget Sound area.
According to the Mercer Island Police Department, the regional investigation team arrested the 20-year-old and 24-year-old Puyallup residents shortly after a burglary Sunday afternoon in the 7600 block of 85th Place Southeast on Mercer Island.
The duo have been under investigation for weeks for 100 or more burglaries stretching from King County to Thurston County, according to police.
The investigation will continue in the coming weeks in the hopes of connecting even more victims to the two burglars.
How could the cops sit back and "watch" them break into another house after they were aware of only one? If they knew these guys were breaking into homes⦠if they would of put them in then- then thats only one homeowner that would've fell victim to the horror.
Did any of the homes have a recent new roof or roof cleanning as a common factor?
Will they be charged in 100 individual crimes or will they lump it all together and give them a slap on the wrist?
Hopefully some serious physical harm will come to them soon. Â
In my book thieves are one of the lowest life forms on the planet. Easy to understand why in some countries that cut off body parts.
Had a similar rash a couple years ago in Sammamish. POS' would come in from outer areas and hit those living a bit nicer than themselves (of course the homeowner leaving the garage door open all night didn't help either). No one would recognize them or the vehicle and once they were gone they weren't in the area either.
I think they have an addiction to breaking into homes. The home owners have to be sitting around with their fingers cross in hopes that these are the guys. That has to be a horrible feeling to have when your home is broken into. I just could not image the feeling. Â
They'll be out in less than 5
Do we have a time frame on these losers? Our house was hit Feb 14, 2012 - broke our downstairs window and luckily our alarm went off and MI police arrived withing moments but perps were never caught - everybody on this block and surrounding blocks were hit if they had an older house that had basements or converted basements.
More info soon, I hope. Â Would like to face the creeps who burglarized my home back in 2007....with a bat. Â LOL.
Should get them 100 years . . . EACH . . Â in the Graybar Hotel.
Wow! Over a hundred burgleries? If they are guilty, I'm glad they got caught.
