Police hunting for alleged armed carjacker in West Seattle
SEATTLE -- An armed carjacker is on the loose after robbing a man at gunpoint and taking his truck early Tuesday near the West Seattle Golf Course, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The victim had just finished parking his silver 1993 Ford F150 at 28th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Nevada Street around 2 a.m. when he was approached by a man with a gun.
According to police, the man pointed the gun at the victim and took his wallet, cellphone and keys before driving off eastbound on Nevada Street in the victim's truck.
A search conducted by the Seattle Police Department, King County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Patrol failed to turn up the alleged carjacker.
It would be prudent for KOMO to state the vehicles license number, and give a
description of the perpetrator. It would make it easier for the public to help nab
this individual before he injures, or kills someone.
There are a lot of silver F-150 Ford pickups on the road.
Â
I would be more worry about the wallet, he now knows where he lives. Some people just want revenge if you call the police on them, and it don't matter if they are in the wrong.Â

@Komo Dragon A description of the hijacker would be nice as well.
Â
By the way, is hijacking a 1993 F-150 a felony or misdemeanor?
