Police investigate shooting that left man wounded in Belltown

SEATTLE -- A man was wounded in a shooting in Belltown early Wednesday morning, and the shooter remains on the loose.
The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. near the Twilight Martini Lounge in the 2100 block of Western Avenue. Two security guards told police they noticed a disturbance in the parking lot across the street from the bar. Then they heard multiple shots.
The guards noticed a man running away from the scene and called police, but but the time officers arrived, neither the shooter nor the victim were found.
It turns out, someone drove the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he was listed in surgery for wounds to his stomach and hand.
Detectives say all witnesses were not cooperating with police.
Their investigation is still ongoing.
