Bellevue police looking for Pomeranian-carrying burglar
BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Police are trying to track down a man and woman suspected of burglarizing homes throughout the area.

On August 12, a home near Bellevue Square was burglarized. The thieves made off with roughly $13,000 in property, including electronics and jewelry, according to police.

Later that morning, a woman went shopping at the Bellevue Square Nordstrom using a credit card stolen from the home. The woman, who police believe is in her mid thirties, was wearing a black and purple sun dress and was carrying a white purse and a small Pomeranian dog.

Police are also looking for a second suspect, who they describe as a roughly 30-year-old white man who stands 6' tall. The man has a medium to thin build, a thin face and a shaved head.

Police believe the duo could be responsible for a string of local burglaries in Seattle. In those cases, a man and woman were caught on surveillance video using credit cards stolen during various home burglaries. In at least one instance, the woman was carrying a white Pomeranian during the shopping spree.

The burglars are believed to be driving a dark-colored 1990s Chrysler Sebring.

Anyone with information about either suspected burglar is asked to call Bellevue Police Detective Jim Lindquist at (425) 452-7653.
