Police release surveillance video of Capitol Hill murder
SEATTLE -- Seattle police hope a newly released surveillance video will help them track down a murderer.

On January 17, 49-year-old Darek Darewski was walking in the 1700 block of Harvard Avenue near Seattle Central Community College. At roughly 11:15 p.m., police say someone walked over and shot him in the chest, killing him.

Witnesses in the area heard the shot and saw a white sedan leaving the scene, and police have released new surveillance video of that car.

Another section of the video was shot from inside SCCC and shows Darewski walking on Harvard Avenue when an unknown person outside the college doors shoots him.
