With this hot weather, it is possible he had his door open. That only gives thugs and open invitation. A good investment for our homes is to purchase a high quality, locking screen door, available at Home Depot and Lowes. The locks are of excellent quality, and if you add a grid to it, it makes it difficult enough to enter a home, giving the homeowner time to call police and/or get your weapon.
According to SPD it was a 65 year old man in a wheelchair and the robbers took cash and prescription drugs. They wore ski masks so hence, no description. And thanks KOMO for following up and giving more details...NOT.Â
You darn well why they didn't give a description.
I don't get it. Why don't the police give a description of the robbers?  I've lived in a half dozen cities and this is unheard of elsewhere.
@ObsidianOne Likely one of three reasons, either the crime victim was unable to provide a real description of any meaning, the crime victim is less cooperative due to some aspect of this that reflects on them,  or they are close to catching them and want to keep them as unaware as possible.Â
Sure is worth those high rents to live in a city where people can just walk in and take your property. I figure when the first 5 or 6 high dollar condo owners get hit, the property values will too! Then we can call Capitol Hill "Belltown Lite!"
Department of Justice employees tamper with their suspect's automobiles with the intention of causing an accident.
Â
Corrupt and stupid is a deadly combination.
Â
They have been tampering with my car.
Â
They have loosened steering linkages, put nails in tires, remove wheel weights, loosened lug nuts, disabled seat belt restraints, disabled anti-lock brake systems, stolen break pads and rotors (swapping them with worn out parts) etc...Â

When will the government give authority to shot and kill all tweeks, crackheads , and other obvious scum of the earth on sight? I'll be the first to sign up.
