EDMONDS, Wash. -- Officers are looking for a man with a gun who allegedly tried to rob a woman outside her Edmonds apartment Wednesday morning.

According to the Edmonds Police Department, the victim was getting out of her car at her apartment building at 72nd Avenue West and 213th Place Southwest around 9:10 a.m. when a man with a gun threatened her and demanded money.

The victim didn't have any money, and the man walked off, according to police.

Officers searched for 45 minutes but were unable to find the man, who is described as a dark-skinned black man in his late 20s to early 30s with pock marks on his face and a heavy accent. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white T-shirt.
