Police searching for missing Tacoma boys
TACOMA, Wash. -- Tacoma police are looking for two young boys who went missing Wednesday afternoon.
Nine-year-old Zabian Welcome and 11-year-old Jeffrey Zupan were last seen Wednesday at roughly 5 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Cedar Street in Tacoma.
Police spokesman Mark Fulghum said the two have run off before, but never for this long. The boys are known to hang out at Wapato Park and Skip Vaughn Park.
One of the boys got into an argument with his mother prior to the disappearance, which may have led to the boys running away, Fulghum said.
Foul play isn't suspected.
Anyone with information about the boys is asked to call Tacoma police at (253) 789-4722.

What the hell is wrong with all of you people? Who gives a crap about their haircut or photos. Children are missing and you've post negative comments about their school pictures? What a sad world we live in. Have some compassion on the mother, I feel sorry for her in this difficult times and pray that her children be found very soon.
What a bunch of dumb asses, people are always so quick to judge.

Hopefully the kids will be found safe & well. This must be extremely hard on all of the parents.

So in this situation where the boys CHOOSE to run away and I'm sure that the mom is frustrated. What should the mom do? Lock them up and get herself arrested from CPS? Or let the kids continue running?

Those are some really crappy pictures. You'd think in today's world of camera phones, facebook and instagram, they mother could have provided some better, higher quality pictures. I mean even the school photo has to be over a year old.Â
I pray nothing has happend to these lil boys, I hope the mother gets them back, hugs them and then whoops their behind raw for running off like idiots. who knows what could happen. I dont get kids today are we not giving enough spankings for them to act like lil brats, I cant stand lil kids who act out or disrespect an elder, we need to take back these kids from the technology age that has them seeing things kids shouldnt be seeing, getting ideas to do things that get them in trouble.

I'd be mad at my mom too if she made me get my hair cut like that today or heck even in 1974 when I was 9 that cut wouldn't have cut it
I say the home life is not good, you can see it in that young boys eyes.Â
So the 9 year old gets in argument with his mom. They say that these boys have 'run off' before but not this long. This is sad and scary for these kids. Pure speculation suggests that things at home may not be a good environment for these boys. Why do they have a history of running off?

The scary part includes the fact that these boys 'hang out' at parks. This could put them in another type of danger when they are possibly running away from something at home.

 @My opinion is I know Zabian well he was taken from the mother bc she's a meth addict! The father that is allowing a violent and abuser acholic watch the child.. The child should not ever have to be placed back at the father or mathers care! it's a sad situation the child is very confused and wants to leave a horrible situation! He is a run away and I understand this child and he is a very kind boy. ..
