Port Angeles police on the hunt for armed man
PORT ANGELES, Wash. -- Police are on the hunt for an armed man who shot at another man Thursday morning.
Mario Wayne Hackney is accused of firing a shotgun at another man during a morning fight near Cameron Road and Highway 101. Hackney, who was shirtless and wearing blue jeans, took off on foot and is still on the lam, according to Port Angeles Deputy Police Chief Brian Smith.
Police believe the 45-year-old could still be armed with the shotgun.
Hackney stands 5-9" tall and weighs roughly 190 pounds. He has tattoos on his arms and chest.
Police have dealt with Hackney in the past, and they ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 911.

PA, dang haven't heard that term in years for Port Angeles, spent a month their one night..
The PA police will never find him. They couldn't even kill a dog, took them over 20 shots.
How do you miss someone with a shotgun? should be locked up for being such a horrible shot!

Since he's had previous encounters with the law, will this latest assault/attempted murder be considered a "third strike"? If it is, he should be locked up for the safety and well-being of society. Shooting a shotgun at somebody is no joke.

They report he was shirtless. The picture was not taken right after he shot at the other person.

He is very recognizable for sure. He is a white guy with a sleeve of tats wearing a teeshirt  with professional firefighters logo, short hair and  several days growth. Everyone quick be on the lookout. This is the most KOMO has offered in some time.
