Hmmm...a month ago I got gas for $3.19, yesterday it was $3.45--how is that going down? I think either the local gas station owners are getting gouged by the oil companies and passing it on to us, or there is a little 'holiday price war" happening just so someone can buy more presents.Â
i have noticed in past stories about fuel prices going up that the blame falls on Obama or some other democrat. Â Yet when the price comes down I don't see any praise for who lowered the price?
@DeadRabitz That is because the prices are still too dang high!!!!  There is no reason it should be more than $2.00.  Especially when we export oil instead of keeping it. Â
@SureHandz @DeadRabitz  We don't export oil, we use all the oil produced domestically plus quite a lot of imported oil. We export refined pertroleum products, thinks like jet fuel, lubricants, special fuels.... BIG DIFFERENCE.Â

Â
its been $3.29 in puyallup for a few weeks no new here

I dunno, it went up from a low of 3.15 in some places to 3.29 recently....going up to me......more misinformation and outright lies......
Thanks to those hearings on price "gouging" by Senator Cantwell, no doubt...
@Getov Mylon free market economy sucks sometimes.  The price would be lower if oil wasn't on the market and subject to speculation.
@DeadRabitz I have shot down that "speculators" are at fault ad nauseum. You seem to be unaware that "speculators" can "speculate" on a DECREASE in prices as well. Commodities trading actually REDUCES price volatility. See "onion futures." Â

@Getov Mylon it's not all their fault never said it was, but they did raise the price when the cost of a barrel was well north of 100. We can add supply and demand to the equation, not just our demand, world demand and taxes.

@newdragon Proof you haven't a clue what you are talking about.
I was hoping to see it drop below $3.00. Â Nope - up it goes again. Â :-(
"Quick, it needs more taxes!!!!!" - Chris 'The Grinch' Gregwhoire
@SureHandz Sorry she doesn't work here anymore, you will have to blame the new governor for all future tax increases.
It's down???? Really? Why don't they come to Whidbey where the price is about $3.49 a gallon!!
@hunkydorey247 try long beach were you have to have a pot of gold to buy gas. it's $3.57 today in seaview.
 @32jim2  @hunkydorey247 Try Port Orchard, it's 3.53 there...
Not getting a fist-bump or a high-five from me....
Big deal! Call me when it gets back down to a $1.00 a gallon.
@DDG Don't wait for any call.
What do they mean drop ? It went up. It was around 3.25 a week ago and around 3.19 before that.
Nice photo. Even got the drip.
@StringerJoe  What drip? I see no politicians or "investors" in that photo.
