Rangers training at night at Lewis-McChord, Moses Lake

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) - The Army says Rangers and special forces are conducting night training this week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and at Moses Lake with planes, helicopters and simulated munitions causing loud noises.

The Army says it's sensitive to the disruption for neighbors and tries to limit the noise.

The training involves Army Rangers from the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at JBLM and units from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Fort Campbell, Ky., and Air Forces Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Fla.
