Rare home invasion robbery reported in upscale Clyde Hill

CLYDE HILL, Wash. - Police are investigating a rare home invasion robbery in Clyde Hill, where crime is rare and the average home value is $1.4 million.

Officers responded to the home, in the 8800 block of NE 24th Street, at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a break-in.

It was not immediately known how much was stolen. No injuries were reported during the break-in.

The case remains under investigation.
