Robber holds up Tacoma real estate office, crashes stolen car
TACOMA, Wash.-- A brazen armed robbery in Tacoma Friday evening ended with the alleged crooks crashing a stolen car and taking off on foot.

Police say an armed man walked into a Tacoma real estate office at 6:30 p.m. and demanded money and car keys from employees.

After getting an unknown amount of cash, the robber met up with another man outside and they both drove off in one of the robbery victim's cars, according to police.

They sped off, but a Tacoma police officer soon spotted them at South 56th Avenue and South Yakima Street.

After a brief chase, the alleged robbers crashed into a Suburban in the intersection of South 38th Street and South Fawcett Avenue.

Several people from the Suburban were taken to a local hospital to be evaluated, but none of them were seriously injured.

The two men bailed out of the car and took off running. One of them was caught immediately, and a police K9 found the other a short time later.
