Police: Robber targeting victims through online sex ads arrested

SEATTLE - A tip received late Friday night helped police nab a man suspected of using online personal ads to rob three people over the past several months.
Police have been looking for David Hansen, 25, after he managed to escape arrest Tuesday night at a Central District apartment complex.
Hansen is accused of creating fake personal ads, making his victims believe they are meeting him for sex. But when he shows up at their homes, he robs them, according to police.
Police shared Hansen's picture online as well as through a number of media outlets hoping someone would help them find him.
Detective Mark Jamieson of the Seattle police says that exposure paid off Friday night,at around 10:45p.m., when officers received information Hansen was staying at a motel in the 9100 block of Aurora Avenue North.
Officers responded to the motel and found Hansen in the parking lot. He was arrested on the spot before he could run.
Hansen has been booked into King County Jail for investigation of felony robbery and a Department of Corrections warrant.
Blatant deception and robberies aside, it's too bad he didn't think to audition for a Pro-Active commercial... I think there could've been a good before/after there.
@skepticaloptimist His sores look more like meth sores than acne, but I could be wrong.
I'm glad this POS was caught. but instead of possibly contracting a std, or getting robbed. Wouldn't it have been better for his victims to get a blow up dolly....much saferÂ
he obviously wasnt using his picture in his ad... what a ugly mofo
@futhi151 I'm guessing standards are pretty low for people looking for sex on the internet!
@Smashquail @futhi151 standards are low on and off the internet, depends on what a person is looking for. This appears like the sort of "no strings attached" so yes a very low bar, don't expect anything LOL.
@Pollywannacracker  @Smashquail  @futhi151 Blessed are those who expect little, for they shall never be disappointed.
You never know what you're going to get when you have sex with a complete stranger.
At least for a while now, he won't be able to renege on his dates! Â LOL
 @Lets_Use_Some_Sense LOL indeed!
AND ... a DOC warrant .. what do you suppose that was for .. FAILURE TO REPORT TO HIS PAROLE OFFICER ?
He's a sick twisted POS but people that answer online personal ads and invite a total stranger over to their house for sex are just as sick and twisted.
@Half-Baked: And picking someone up at a bar and going home with them for sex is better how?
@usnrbb Note to all people, don't have sex with a stranger, someone you just met the same day is a STRANGER. Doesen't matter where you picked them up. I don't feel sorry for the victims either, why should I? How about get a normal life, and stop sleeping around with strangers, otherwise don't complain if you get robbed or worse!
If it was up to me I would make cases like this lowest priority, and focus on the real innocent robbery victims first.
I can imagine the 911 call," I was browsing online ads looking for strangers to have sex with, and this stranger I found online and decided to meet for sex robbed me, come help!"
This whole story is ridiculous!
@commentator Some people don't understand there is no such thing as 'no strings attached' sex LOL. You are right BTW, the police are dealing with serious issues to maintain public safety. Unfortunately, they also have to deal with the mindless minutia as well.
@usnrbb His comment is within the context of the story being reported and he never said picking up someone at a bar is better ;-)
@usnrbb and going on a blind date is sick and twisted
