Search continues for Redmond man believed hiking in North Bend

REDMOND, Wash. -- Search and rescue crews are still looking for a hiker who has been missing since Sunday.
Ira Thomas Clodfelter of Redmond was last heard from on Sunday as he bought water and granola bars for a what is believed to have been a planned day hike. He was reported missing Monday when he didn't show up for work.
Clodfelter's car was found Tuesday night at the trailhead parking lot of Rattlesnake Mountain in North Bend.
Clodfelter's friends told detectives he had made comments recently about going hiking in that area. He purchased the water and granola bars early Sunday morning and his day pack is missing, leading detectives to believe this was a planned hike.
Clodfelter is a white, 28 years old, 5 feet 4 inches weighing 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is last known to be wearing a blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jean pants, and hiking boots.
A search on Wednesday came up empty and another search was under way Thursday.
If you believe you have seen Clodfelter or have information regarding his disappearance please contact the Redmond Police Department at (425) 556-2500.

Praying for Ira, and his safe return.
He is not a criminal. He is a wonderful young man and his family and friends are worried sick about him. Rather than make fun of what he is wearing or that he looks like he should be in a boy band - how about just sending prayers, good thoughts, positive energy - whatever you believe in to help the amazing SAR crews looking for Ira. He is loved and missed.
At least we have some good weather coming our way. Hope they find the guy and he's ok. Anything can happen this time of year.
Is that his mug shot?
LOL I thought the same thing.
@Komo206 It's a driver's license photo.

Hope they find him soon. Sounds like he was at least somewhat prepared.
