Search on for 16-year-old boy in Chehalis River

ROCHESTER, Wash. -- Rescue and dive teams have searched unsuccessfully for a 16-year-old boy missing in the Chehalis River near Rochester, Wash.
Thurston County sheriff's deputies said the boy was with friends when he jumped into the river from a bridge on Independence Road at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday. He was seen going under, and has not been seen since.
Rescuers were combing the water for the boy using boats, divers and search crews along the shore.
The boy's parents were also on scene.
Rescue crews suspended their search just after 9 p.m. but planned to resume the search Wednesday morning.
