Semi truck overturns on West Marginal Way

SEATTLE - A semi truck overturned Tuesday morning on West Marginal Way, completely blocking the roadway for nearly four hours.

The truck was carrying a load of concrete cylinders when it overturned at about 7:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of West Marginal Way SW, police said.

The driver was not injured, and no other vehicles were struck.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

The roadway was reopened at about 11:20 a.m. after the truck was righted with a heavy tow vehicle.
