AUBURN, Wash. -- Two large trucks collided in Auburn Tuesday morning, blocking a major roadway and ending with one driver in custody.

Troopers say the crash between a semi truck and a sand truck happened around 8:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of SR-18 east of Auburn Way.

The impact sent the sand truck onto its side. Luckily it wasn't carrying any cargo.

Troopers said no one was seriously hurt but the mess and cleanup was expected to keep the roadway closed until about 10:30 a.m.

The driver of the semi truck has since been arrested for investigation of DUI, troopers said, adding they're still investigating the crash.
