Shooting outside SODO nightclub leaves man injured

SEATTLE - Police are searching for suspects involved in the shooting of a man outside a SODO nightclub Saturday morning.

A large disturbance following a rap concert at a club in the 2900 Block of 1st Avenue South was witnessed by gang unit detectives who were monitoring the club around 2 a.m.

Detectives heard shots being fired and quickly located a man who had been shot in the arm amongst a crowd that had gathered at Occidental Avenue South and South Forest Street.

Detectives say there were numerous potential witnesses, but none - including the man shot - wanted to cooperate with officers.

The man was taken to Harborview with non life-threatening injuries.
