Sketch released of man suspected in Hoquiam rape

HOQUIAM, Wash. -- Police have released a sketch of a man suspected of raping a woman in her Hoquiam home earlier this month.

The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Oct. 4, when a man entered a woman's home in the 3000 block of East Hoquiam Road and sexually assaulted her. He then spent several hours in the home with the woman, police said.

The victim was eventually able to escape and ran to a neighbor's house to report the rape. The man fled.

Police describe their suspect as Hispanic, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dirty white t-shirt, brown flannel type jacket, and dirty blue jeans, police said.
