Small bomb explodes outside WA Corrections office
TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - The Washington state Corrections Department says no one was injured when a small homemade bomb exploded Thursday afternoon outside the agency's largest Pierce County field office in Tacoma.
Corrections spokesman Chad Lewis says the three-story building wasn't damaged.
Tacoma police are investigating.
Lewis says no threat was received before the device went off at about 3:30 p.m. The office was locked down until 5 p.m., when employees went home. Lewis says the office will reopen Friday.
Offenders report to community corrections officers at the field office.

Gonna see more of this as society gets worse. There are a lot of reasons for someone to be mad at the WA DOC.
Better ban bombs and anything you can make them with! Get Obama on the case :P

@NWCoin You actually think this is "funny", don't you? Which puts you at the same mental level as the punks who did this.
Maybe it was you...just enough bravado to joke about it, not enough nuggets to claim it?
@OrcasThunder That's pretty insulting, how dare you accuse me of that.

you can't handle the truth can you? that your attempts to make a nanny state where everything is controlled and all "bad" things go away
@OrcasThunder  @NWCoin Lighten up Orcas, any idiot can make a pipe bomb or other type. The instructions are on the net. Black powder is available at sporting goods stores, a model rocket igniter and a burn phone. No one got hurt and there are cameras on all the doors.
@whitewings2003  @OrcasThunder  @NWCoin If it was right outside the doors (if I remember correctly they are glass) and nothing was damaged, I'm thinking it was a M-100 or something similar. Probably a large firecracker essentially, but of course the media hypes this up to a "small bomb".
