These things are usually not random.Â
That's officially the steamiest pile of whiney, spineless, blame everyone else foolishness I've read in eons. What a miserable existence you have going on in your head there. Make sure some of it rubs off on your kids, we don't want the government to run out of helpless people that need government training/assistance in order to be able to choose between a job and a lifeof crime.
Maybe we can send all the miscreants to India, China, and the Philippines, where your friendly neighborhood Vulture capitalists have sent the jobs that young men and women used to train for out of school. Â You remember... the CETA programs that trained young people who didn't go to college, and the Govt helped them find the path to a decent job, a home, and a rewarding life? Â Yeah.. sorry, that was squelched in the 80s, along with services and facilities for the severely mentally ill, deductions for consumer interest, recreation services funded at the school level, and adequate police staffing. Â Thank you republicans!! Â Thank your for trying to turn us into Haiti. Â Where guys like the Koch Brothers, and the Walmart Heirs, and the CEO of Aetna (who makes 200 million a year in salary,) are sitting back and enjoying the idea that the rest of us will be paying 2k more a year, with LESS services, so that THEY can have extreme tax cuts on their PERSONAL wealth. Â Remember.. this is not their corporate wealth. This is on their personal taxes. Â This BS about job creators has to stop. They have created jobs overseas. Period. Â So don't start in on how this stuff is some sign of how depraved our Country is, or blame it on the Democrats. Â The republicans have refused to even vote on job bills, they've fought student loan help, seniors services, veteran's job bills, they are doing nothing but kissing the ass of Grover Norquist, a multi-millionaire (just like Limbaugh, Beck, and Boehner,) who doesn't want his taxes raised. Â The republicans are going to plunge us off that cliff to keep the ridiculously low tax rates for people that don't need them. Â Let them have the rates under Clinton.. heck, how about under Reagan? Â (look it up.) We could solve our money problems if they'd pay their fair share for once!Â
@DT An understanding of how economics actually work and a review of history (check into Carter's presidency and how his attempt to do what you're suggesting killed the economy) would help."The rich" cannot fund the massive spending we are doing for social benefits. We're doomed to an ever-increasing deficit until it all implodes.
Â
The problem we have, and both parties have created this equally, is globalism. Our workers now have to compete with third wold countries and whole industries have moved offshore, leaving large numbers of people unemployed here.
Don't expect things to improve. Once we go off that fiscal cliff, this is going to get even worse. This country's so out of control now that it's downright terrifying!
@Joy Johnson The Republicans are hoping we go off the so-called "Fiscal Cliff" so they can escape being called out for agreeing with the Democrats. Read more balanced reporting, and you won't be so "Terrified."
@3Tree  @Joy Johnson Down right terrifying, yes indeed we are about to experience what the third world countries have been dealing with as every day life. Grab your ankles and hold on its not going to get any better.
