State house candidate once posed for Playboy
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A Democratic candidate running for a seat in the Washington state Legislature says she doesn't regret posing for a topless photo for Playboy 17 years ago.
Amy Biviano tells The Spokesman-Review her pictorial in a "Women of the Ivy League" issue while she attended Yale University was a confidence-building experience
Biviano is challenging Republican Rep. Mat Shea for the 4th District House of Representatives seat, which covers Spokane Valley. She trailed Shea, a conservative Republican, by more than 20 points in the August primary.
The topless photo was revealed Friday by a conservative website called Western Journalism Center.
According to her website, Biviano is a small business owner and teaches Sunday school at Bethany Presbyterian Church

Just another mud slinging tactic in the game of politics. That Amy Biviano has accepted rather than denying this is commendable and may show shes deserving to have the seat in the state house. Would vote for her on the basis of character if she was listed on my ballot.

How dare I say that? Simple. the MAJORITY of Americans view porn or acquire 'objects, toys, and/or things used to arouse themselves/others with'.  So odds are that at least some of the liars and hypocrites trying to use this against her have done far more 'immoral' things than she has.

Who CARES if she posed topless? One, she obviously looked good enough to do it in the first place, two, she was in college, and three....if she's SMART, why SHOULDN'T she have a job in the Legislature? LOOK at the BOOBS in there now......what's the difference?
 @Wolfen Exactly.  20 years or more has passed.  Big deal.  Even if it was last year...whoopie-doo.  She's older and heavier now (given the pictures I've seen online), but that has no bearing on her ability to carry out the responsibilities of the position if she is elected. Â

 @komoispropaganda You can't hide photos in a widely circulated magazine.  Really, it's a non issue and if I were her, I wouldn't bring it up either.  Obviously it wasn't that hard to find.
@komoispropaganda I object to the heading title "Candidate Caught Stripping For Playboy". The implication is that she is doing it currently. She did this 18 years ago (once). "Caught" is the wrong term. "Had done", or "has a past" or ... whatever in context would be appropriate.
