Stray bullets hit car in West Seattle, driver uninjured
SEATTLE -- Police say a woman was pulling into her West Seattle apartment complex Thursday evening when her car was hit by several bullets.
The woman had just arrived at her apartment, located in the 8400 block of Delridge Way SW, when her car window shattered. Police say the car was hit by multiple gunshots, though they do not believe the driver was the target of the shooting.
The woman was not injured.
Officers aren't sure where the stray rounds came from and they weren't able to find any suspects in the area.

Must be another "upstanding young gentleman" who merely forgot to turn in his "probably legally" acquired guns at McGinn's buyback...

Ok, a car isn't all that large. So, if she had several rounds hit her car the shooter was likely fairly close otherwise they would have spread out. Additionally if she was hit while pulling in then her car was potentially moving when they hit so it leads one to think she was tracked. I'm not saying she was targeted but its looking like there is more to this than stray bullets.
I grew up in West Seattle, what the heck has happened to it? Sure seems to be a lot of violence anymore.
How scary for the woman. I hope she will be able to find some kind of peace while living there. The feeling of fear would be such an awful feeling to have in your own home.Â
Until they know the source of the shots, they shouldn't assume a thing, one way or the other.
@Bornhere I'm guessing they came from a gun that probably shouldn't have been fired. Where else would they come from?
