Suspect arrested in man's chainsaw murder
SEDRO WOOLLEY, Wash. -- Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man who allegedly used a chainsaw to kill another man in rural Skagit County.
Undersheriff Tom Molitor said the 52-year-old victim was found dead Monday evening in his home north of Sedro Woolley in the 4800 block of Blank Road.
Molitor said the 34-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday morning and is believed to have acted alone.
"It is believed that there had been a dispute between the suspect and victim," Molitor said in a news release.
The suspect was a tenant at the property owned by the victim, but it was not clear exactly what prompted the attack.
The name of the man who was killed has not been released.

Guess this means a licence to carry chainsaws
The victom was my family and did nothing to deserve his dealth...I can not believe some of the posts I've read from sick individuals on here, REALLY?? Make jokes, say you stupid stuff, what is wrong with you, your no better then the person that did this to him....Shame on you!!!. I hope this never happens to your family as you can not even imagine what is happening in ours. Thats 2 children without their father, a brother and sister without a brother, two parents without a son, two nieces without an uncle and three grand children without their granpa. you make me sick and wonder what has gone wrong with our society......the grieving family
@checking the news i knew Louie for the last 13 years. Over that time he helped me out of too many binds to count. Most recently he worked with me almost all night to ensure i finished a project on time. Even while working doing difficult work late into the night he had a sense of humor that kept everyone in a great mood, and it didn't seem like work when Louie was around, it was a couple guys having fun. I know nothing about flooring and louie never missed a chance to poke fun at that fact by asking me "which side of this cheap crap you bought should go up" To the family, I am sorry for your loss, Louis will be missed by all who knew him, he was a smart, hard working man, and a real pleasure to be around. The Graycat
@graycat he was all that and more...thank you for appreciating the true Louie, he will be truly missed...:0(
When will the Name and Mugshot of the murder suspect be released?
Maytbe taking chainsaw art a little to far? Or he threatened him and un-armed the guy?
All you people making stupid jokes about this should have your accounts booted. This is BS, I cant believe the comments coming out here.
@northwestsurfer I agree...thank you
Rural Skagit County kind of says it all..... chill pill Redwood..
Â
 Wow! It amazes me what comes out of the mouths of adults these days. Especially finding humor at the victim's expense.
Â
 Visualize this! What if the victim was a family member of yours!! Would you find humor in that? I think not!! Grow up!!
Â
Nobody knows what the circumstance was. Nobody but the suspect and the victim. With all of the violence going on these days, (DarkParty-whether it be a gun or chainsaw) we should not be joking around at anyone's expense. People have gone and lost their minds and only know of one way to resolve arguments/disagreements. The people who find humor in stories like this scare the heck out of me. I would hate to cross you in a dark alley, on a street in daylight or anywhere for that matter!
Â
My prayers go out to the victim and his family.
@Redwood I agree and thank you

It is the world that WE all live in, but there is never any reason to joke about it. It appears that looking at your photo, that you live in a dark world. That is why you can joke about these things.
@T-Prop @Redwood their comment was probably removed because it was offensive to us, the victims family, The victim was the kindest, loving, do anything for anybody guy, would never hurt anyone ever and he ended up being brutely murdered by some POS sick person, that thought nothing of it....sad, sad, sad world we live in.
 @Redwood Red - you seem to be having a conversation with yourself?  Oy....
 @Redwood Live and let die
Maybe so, but I surely don't find humor in it.
Someone played a little too much Doom.
What a morbid and messy way to kill someone. Disgusting.
Â
Thank god he didn't use a gun!
More and more trash coming out of the woodwork amongst us.
Yet another reason to live in the big bad city.
Fire up the wood chipper.
Sounds like it might've been a tenant/owner dispute gone wrong. Maybe a missed payment for rent? To use a chainsaw to kill someone is brutal. You have to be a crazy baffoon. This guy must've watched too many Jason Voorhees movies.
 @Koreanman012 Jason preferred a machete. Leatherface liked chainsaws.
