Schools locked down after stabbing in Camelot Park
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Two schools were locked down Thursday afternoon after a man was found stabbed in a park outside Federal Way, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
The 22-year-old victim called 911 to report being stabbed in the park at 29400 45th Pl. S. just after 11:30 a.m.
Once officers arrived, the victim became uncooperative and refused to identify the suspect, eventually changing his story and saying he fell on his own knife, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Jefferson High School and Camelot Elementary School were locked down while police searched for the stabber.
ban knives quick!
Then let him sew up his own stab wound.
He is either too afraid to say who did it or revenge is in the works. I'm guessing there will be another dead body found soon....
I'm sure once he had time to think about it, he knew that if he pointed fingers, next time it wouldn't be a knife.
I vote for knife control. But how will I butter my toast?
 @Common Sense I vote to ban stupid people that take a serious matter and turn it into jokes and games.Â
 @Just my say  @Common Sense Nope! The reactionaries will be calling for knife registration and a total ban on anything sharper than a butterknife. I've see it so many times recently over guns, that it is the next natural step.
/*Sarcasm On/ Ban Knives as they are too dangerous for society. /*Sarcasm Off/
 @gastoys /*Sarcasm On/ You are the most mature person I have seen with a serious matter. I will respect your decision, after all only mature people act like this. /*Sarcasm Off/
 @gastoys I'm sorry, but I can't prepare food for you with a shotgun.Â
changing his story, huh? Let's put him under surveillance. He will lead us to the perp. If you spend taxpayer money to get help, you cooperate, that's the deal.
Basically the school was just covering their own butt so they wouldn't have to listen to all the uppity, whiny parents throw a fit.
I just spent ten days in Mexico, in a smallish, poorer state (Oaxaca) and one thing that struck me was that the parks in the city were actually full of people enjoying the space. made me very depressed to consider our parks are largely homeless nap spots, full of drugs/drunks and generally more violent possibilities.
 @SwampThing Iin Hawaii it is the same way, people flooded the parks and had a lot of friends and family around playing games and talking.  It normal that every Sunday families get together at the park.  Maybe if we had the weather they do our parks would be a good option.
All is not well in Camelot.Â
